In the war on drugs, Jodi Barber and Christine Brant are on the front lines doing battle in their community. Jodi’s son Jarrod died of an overdose from prescription drugs. These two mom’s recognized that accidental death from overdosing has become an epidemic, not just in their suburban community but across the U.S. Taking action to save lives, they set out on a goal of producing a short documentary educating young adults on the truth about addiction and the often deadly consequences drugs have. “One choice can destroy”.
Overtaken is a 28 minute documentary made for both middle and high schools across the U.S. Several young adults tell their heartbreaking stories. The program director of Mission Hospital as well as counselors of sober livings are included in this documentary to educate and spread the awareness we all need.

Singers Company provides a non-competitive opportunity for girls to perform, a fun way to inspire confidence, make friends and share joy through music & dance.
With practice once a week and 2-3 performances at the end of each Singers Company season, these young girls develop talents and skills that last a lifetime. It is inspiring to see a young girl, once afraid to leave her mother’s side, get up in front a large audience and sing a solo with confidence.
Singers Company provides a fun environment for young girls to sing, dance, make friends and rock out. There is so much good that comes from these groups it is time to share it with the world!

On Sunday, July 22nd - July 23rd at 2 p.m. Kaleidoscope will be hosting “Relay for Life”. Relay for Life is a unique 24 hour celebration of cancer survivorship and a tribute to those who have lost their battle. This event is an opportunity for you to show your support and make a difference.
There will be an opening ceremony, live entertainment, to be determined, a luminary ceremony, and of course closing ceremonies on day two.
